Team Bath Buccaneers Ladies’ firsts suffered their first defeat of the season, losing 3-2 to Bristol University.
Buccs went 1-0 after five minutes with a well executed goal from Scottish International Fiona Burnet, Jo Adam finding the cross in the circle for Burnet to finish. Burnet had missed the previous three games while collecting her first senior Scotland caps in Germany.
Bristol hit back hard scoring three goals when Buccs looked sloppy in defence, going 3-1 up just before the half was over. Buccs pulled one back seconds before the tea break with Rachel Findlay tapping in a well worked short corner routine.
Buccs came close to equalising in the second half only to find Bristol goalie in top form to deny them a point. Team Bath remain second in the table.
