Team Bath Buccaneers men’s first XI came close to dropping their first points of the season after Indian Gymkhana fought their way back into the game at the University of Bath.
Buccs went 1-0 down to an early counter from the visitors. Goals from Josh Mardell, Ben Stone and two from Tim Davenport saw the league leaders go 4-1 at half time to settle the crowds nerves.
This was however short lived when the traveling team scored thre goals within 10 minutes to level the score at 4-4.
Buccs looked to be dropping two points at the top of the table but switched back on when Ben Mackey scored to make it 5-4.
Then skipper Davenport completed his hat-trick to make it safe for Buccs, the game ending 6-4.
