Did you take part in the ice-bucket challenge for ALS and wonder what your next challenge might be? Ponder no more. On Saturday December 6 the Polar Plunge comes to the University of Bath Sports Training Village.
Anyone who takes the plunge will generate funds for the Special Olympics – the organisation that raises money to transform the lives of children and adults with intellectual disabilities through sport.
This carnival atmosphere on the day will include a Plunge Village, warming treats, a paddling pool challenge for the youngsters and prizes for the best dressed plunger, too!
Why not team up on the day with your friends, family or colleagues and plunge into 20 tons of icy water for such a good cause. The Polar Plunge team are on the campus Parade today from 11-3pm and you can find out more from them as well as registering to have a go.
