The Great Britain luge team has become the latest Olympic Winter sport team to officially adopt the University of Bath as a training base. The University is today (Monday) announced as the training base for the GB Luge’s national development squad. Talented teenager Siobhan Marie O’Connor has been named on the shortlist for British Swimming’s Athlete of the Year Award. O’Connor, who trains at the University of Bath at British Swimming’s National Training Centre Bath, features on a shortlist of five for the award.
