Swimming pool re-opens on Wednesday 22 April

01 April 2015

The newly upgraded swimming pool and changing room in the Sports Training Village officially re-opened to the public on Wednesday 22nd April.

A timetable for public use can be found here: http://www.teambath.com/about/times-prices/swimming

In addition to the installation of a London 2012 Games Legacy 50m pool, our state-of-the-art swimming facilities include improved changing rooms, a modernised plant room and a refurbished ventilation system.

We are grateful to Sport England for their support and we would like to thank everyone for their patience and hope you enjoy the new pool.

This refurbishment of the swimming pool changing rooms will mark the first step in the modernisation and upgrading of the changing room environment across the Sports Training Village.

The next phase, which started in April, will be the opening out of the changing rooms along the corridor from the gym to the judo dojo.  We plan, once more, to create more flexible spaces with modern fixtures and fittings.
