Biography:

Devizes schoolgirl Polly, a below-the-elbow amputee, only made her international debut in 2014 after being spotted at a talent identification event.

Coached by Colin Baross at the University of Bath, she won three gold medals at the IWAS Junior Championships in 2014 and went on to compete at the IPC World Championships the following year, finishing fifth in the long jump.

Aged just 16, Polly jumped to an impressive 7th place in the T47 long jump at the 2016 Rio Paralympic Games.

She went on to finish 5th in the T47 100m event, rounding off a superb Games for the University of Bath-based athlete.
