The annual Olympic Day Run will once again be taking place at the University of Bath Sports Training Village this week – and all are invited to take part.
The run, which celebrates International Olympic Day, will get under way at 12noon on Friday (June 23) and will be started by Olympic Champions Amy Williams and Jason Gardener, who are being presented with honorary degrees by the University of Bath later that afternoon.
Participants can complete either 3km or 5km around the University’s Eastwood fields, starting and finishing on the outdoor athletics track, and all abilities are welcome to take part – whether running or walking.
Everyone who completes the run will receive a T-shirt and certificate. To take part, please arrive on the athletics track by 11.45am.
