Sophie is one of the country’s most exciting young attacking talents and was nominated as Vitality Netball Superleague Young Player of the Season in 2017.
That came at the end of an excellent campaign with Hertfordshire Mavericks where Sophie, at the age of 18, scored 284 goals and boasted an impressive conversion rate of 82.3%.
She then went on to help England U21 win bronze at that summer’s Netball World Youth Cup in Botswana and made her senior debut as part of a victorious Roses squad at the 2017 Netball Europe competition.
Sophie is in the first year of an Integrated Mechanical & Electrical Engineering degree at the University of Bath and is supported by a Whiteley Sports Scholarship.
