Trip to high-flying Leeds Beckett is next up for Team Bath in BUCS Super Rugby

29 November 2017

The University of Bath men’s 1st XV will be looking to build on last week’s welcome win over Hartpury College when they travel to high-flying Leeds Beckett for tonight’s BUCS Super Rugby game (7pm).

Charlie Dunbar returns at centre for Bath, who were edged out 27-26 by a last-gasp try when they faced Leeds Beckett at the Sports Training Village on the opening day of the season.

Will Hughes moves to full-back and captain Will Britton switches from the second row to blindside flanker, with Derryn Jones replacing him at lock.

Austin Hay and Levi Davis, who scored the first and last tries in the 24-22 victory over Hartpury, are both in the starting XV having featured in the Aviva A Premiership match between Bath United and London Irish at The Rec on Monday.

England U19 wing Davis was joined in the United side by fellow Sports Performance student Josh Bayliss, who wore the captain’s armband, and George Frampton while Arthur Cordwell and Will Partington were among the replacements. Prop Hay lined up for the victorious London Irish XV.

The University of Bath men’s 1st XV are sponsored by IKON Construction and supported by Investigo.
