New weekly tennis sessions for girls launching in the new year at University of Bath

16 December 2017

Starting in January, Team Bath Tennis will be offering a new weekly tennis sessions to girls that are currently in secondary school and keen to get involved with the sport.

Each session, led by Hetty Alton – an accredited level 2 coach who used to play for the University of Bath 1st team – will focus on a different part of the game with the aim of improving the player’s knowledge and skill in tennis.

Both competitive and non-competitive players are welcome to this friendly and cooperative environment. The girls will also have the opportunity to play against other girls of their own age, which is a great way to improve their performance in the sport. Rackets will be provided to those who don’t yet own one.

These sessions will take place every Wednesday from 6-7pm starting on January 3rd 2018 at the Sports Training Village. The first session will be free to all so you can get a feel of what we have to offer.

The ten-week term costs £121, payable in advance of the course. Contact Tom Ellis or Hetty Alton via or 01225 384210 for more information.
