Here’s who is playing and when during Fed Cup Europe/Africa Zone event at Team Bath Tennis
With just two weeks to go until the Fed Cup returns to Great Britain for the first time in 26 years, the schedule has been released for four action-packed days of world-class tennis at the University of Bath Sports Training Village.
The host nation will play all of their Pool A matches during the afternoon sessions, which get under way on the indoor Team Bath Tennis courts at 4.30pm.
Slovenia will be their first opponents on Centre Court on Wednesday, February 6, followed by Greece on Thursday and Hungary on Friday. Great Britain need to top their pool to reach the Europe/Africa Zone Group 1 decider against the winners of Pool B on Saturday afternoon.
The women’s team competition – dubbed the World Cup of Tennis – begins at 10am on Wednesday as Serbia face Georgia on Centre Court and Croatia take on Turkey on Court 1.
Tickets are selling rapidly for the event, which will see the Team Bath Tennis courts transformed into an atmospheric spectator arena with the addition of stands and fan zones. Centre Court will have 1,800 seats and Court 1 will accommodate 300 spectators.
