Big finish to BUCS Super Rugby league season as title-chasing Team Bath play host to old rivals Loughborough

06 March 2019

The BUCS Super Rugby league season comes to an exciting conclusion for Team Bath men’s 1st XV tonight (Wednesday, 6.30pm) when they welcome old rivals Loughborough to the University of Bath Sports Training Village – admission free to spectators!

The Fulkers-sponsored Blue & Gold, who are also supported by MJ Church, start the day sitting second in the table after four successive league wins and could, depending on leaders Exeter’s result against Cardiff this afternoon, still be in with a chance of winning the title.

Regardless of the outcome in Exeter, Team Bath are guaranteed their best-ever finish in BUCS Super Rugby and they will be looking to maintain their momentum ahead of the BUCS Rugby Championship knock-out matches where a trip to Twickenham is up for grabs.

Team Bath make just one change to the XV that started last week’s brilliant five-try win at Exeter, with Rhys Davies replacing Bath Rugby Academy player Jack Davies in the second row.

Don’t forget, admission to tonight’s match is free and kick-off is 6.30pm, so come and back the boys in Blue & Gold!
