Emphatic victory, comeback draw and last-minute winner leave Team Bath Buccaneers well placed in Jaffa Super 6s

05 January 2020

Team Bath Buccaneers’ men sit just three points off top spot after a solid start to their 2020 Jaffa Super 6s Division 1 indoor hockey campaign.

After losing 5-3 to Repton in the opening match at Nottingham Trent University, Buccs hit back strongly with a 10-3 victory over Harleston Magpies.

They then recovered from 4-2 down to draw with Loughborough Students before grabbing a last-minute winner in their 5-4 victory over Ipswich to sit in mid-table at the halfway point of the competition.

Ben Stone is second highest scorer overall with seven goals so far ahead of the second and decisive weekend of games at UWE Bristol on January 11-12.
