Time to get moving as Team Bath Rhythmic Gymnastics offer free trial of new online dance, hip hop, fitness and skills sessions

Team Bath Rhythmic Gymnastics are offering people the chance to work on their dance, flexibility, fitness and gymnastics skills in fun new interactive online classes being launched next week.

Among the activities on offer are hip hop and contemporary dance classes, ideal for all those seeking to hone their TikTok routines, and a dynamic dance fitness session using a wide range of styles and music. Those sessions are being run by former British gymnast and qualified coach Tiola Gleeson.

For children aged five-10 years old, there will be a weekly beginners’ class in rhythmic gymnastics that youngsters can do at home as well as a skills session where they can learn the best techniques for cartwheels, handstands and more.

Completing the exciting line-up is a fitness and flexibility class aimed at 10-16 year olds which will help to develop fundamental movement skills after lockdown and is suitable for a wide variety of sports including athletics, badminton, swimming, tennis and trampolining, as well as gymnastics.

All of the sessions will be run by qualified coaches and streamed live on Zoom, allowing full interactivity. Free trials for all the classes are available in the week commencing June 22.
