Help us enhance Bath student experience through sport – applications being taken for Professional Student Development role

Applications are now being taken for a new Professional Student Development role at Team Bath, helping to enhance the University of Bath student experience by providing access to sports-related qualifications, experiences and skill development.

The Department of Sports Development & Recreation, which manages and organises a range of activities under the University’s Team Bath sports brand, is passionate about the role sport can play in professional development and this is an exciting opportunity for an individual to join the department and develop the portfolio of professional development offerings for students at the university.

The successful candidate will work within a partnership approach with the Department for Health in the delivery of a newly designed, applied practice unit of the BSc Sport & Exercise Science degree programme, so an experience in teaching in education or professional settings and strong knowledge of vocational courses and professional qualifications is required.

They will also work closely with internal and external partners to create opportunities for all students to access sports-related qualifications, experiences and skill development utilising expertise both on campus and wider afield.

Experience of project management, working with multiple stakeholders and developing effective networks is also needed.
