Dance Fit class and Wellbeing Essentials workshop among this week’s free virtual activities supporting physical and mental health
An energetic Dance Fit session and an interactive mental-health workshop are among the free activities available to people at the University of Bath on this week’s virtual wellbeing and fitness timetable.
Inspirational instructors from the Team Bath Gym & Fitness Centre and the local Bath community will be streaming sessions every weekday, allowing people to keep active and motivated wherever they are.
Among the new additions are a Dance Fit class led by Siobhain Archer on Thursday – a high-energy, empowering session that sets easy-to-follow dance routines to an uplifting variety of popular music and is guaranteed to work every muscle in your body.
There is also a two-hour Wellbeing Essentials workshop for students only on Wednesday, led by Jodie Hoskin of Bath Mind. The session explores what mental health is, how wellbeing can support mental health, where to find support and how to talk to others about mental health.
