Meditation, Zumba and burn classes among new additions to bumper free fitness and wellbeing offering for Bath students and staff

We have greatly expanded our timetable of free wellbeing and fitness sessions to help University of Bath students and staff keep active in both body and mind while the Team Bath Sports Training Village is closed during November.

Joining our existing offering of yoga, pilates, Latin Fit, Dance Fit and Barre Fluid are three Zumba classes and kettlebell sessions plus two body control workouts, along with more HIIT and body conditioning classes with our familiar Team Bath Fitness instructors.

We have also teamed up with Lucy Stone of Meditation Rocks and The Hive Yoga Studio to provide daily meditation, mindfulness and breathing sessions designed to help calm and relax the mind while promoting positivity.

 

A former BBC reporter and now yoga and meditation teacher, Lucy has practised meditation for over 20 years and is passionate about promoting the physical and mental health benefits of yoga and meditation to as many people as possible, whatever their age or background.

Each of the meditation sessions has a different theme, from Monday Mindfulness to start the week through to Friday meditation to relax into the weekend.
