Join our ongoing commitment to anti-doping education by getting involved with our virtual Clean Sport Week from February 8-12

05 February 2021

Olympic and Commonwealth medallists are among the athletes, coaches and support staff who will be celebrating Team Bath’s ongoing commitment to anti-doping education during our first virtual Clean Sport Week, taking place from February 8-12.

Bruce Tasker, who belatedly won four-man bobsleigh Winter Olympic bronze at Sochi 2014 after two Russian crews were disqualified for doping, and medal-winning judoka turned Team Bath coach Tom Reed will be among the guest speakers sharing their experiences and thoughts on the importance of clean sport.

Also taking part is Director of Sport Stephen Baddeley, under whose guidance the University of Bath has been successfully awarded and retained UK Anti-Doping [UKAD] Clean Sport Elite Accreditation – one of only three higher-education institutions in the country to do so.

Current athletes will be revealing what makes them ‘100% Me’ as part of the UKAD education programme focussing on five values of fair competition – passion, respect, integrity, determination and enjoyment.

To help promote a holistic approach to clean sport, Team Bath nutritionist Fiona Lithander will host an interactive live webinar and also share healthy recipes throughout the week. There will also be a chance to win a hoodie by supporting Clean Sport Week online, as well as interactive quizzes.

Join in Team Bath Clean Sport Week on this website, teambath.com, and our social media channels – twitter.com/TeamBath, facebook.com/TeamBath and instagram.com/team_bath.
