Rising stars from around the world at Team Bath Tennis this week for first-ever Junior International Bath tournament
Eighty of the world’s top young tennis players are competing at the University of Bath this week in Tennis Europe’s first U12s international tournament for almost 18 months.
The Junior International Bath, the first Tennis Europe event hosted by Team Bath Tennis, is taking place on the indoor courts at the Sports Training Village until Sunday 7th November.
As well as a host of Great Britain’s rising stars, including Team Bath duo Eric Lorimer and Verity Webber, the boys’ and girls’ main draws include players from Canada, China, Croatia, Finland, Ireland, Italy, Lithuania, Poland, Portugal, Romania, Russia, South Africa, Sweden, Switzerland, Turkey and the United States.
It is the second big tennis competition to take place at Team Bath this Autumn, following Round 7 of the UK Pro-League in September.
