23 February 2022

Team Bath‘s last home match of the BUCS Super Rugby league season promises to be a cracker as Varsity rivals Cardiff Met head to the Sports Training Village for tonight’s showdown (6.30pm kick-off, free to watch).

Spectators have turned out in big numbers to cheer on the Rengen-sponsored men’s 1st XV in this season’s matches and have been treated to some entertaining matches, with 476 points scored at an average of 60 per game.

Team Bath have won four and lost four of their home fixtures so will be looking to finish on a high against a Cardiff Met team keen to bounce back from last week’s home defeat to Swansea.

Lock Ed Ashcroft returns to captain Team Bath, while props Archie Stanley and Josh Cilia, flanker Eddie Anderson and winger Sam Mercer also come into the starting XV.

Don’t forget that tonight’s match is free to watch, so come and cheer on the boys in Blue & Gold!
