Super seven Bath students selected to represent Pentathlon GB at 2022 Junior World Pentathlon Championships in Poland
Seven University of Bath students have been selected to represent Pentathlon GB at the 2022 Junior World Pentathlon Championships, taking place in Zielona Góra-Drzonków, Poland from 2-9 October.
Santander Sporting Scholar Emma Whitaker (pictured, Sports Performance) and Alex Bousfield (Politics and International Relations) will look to build on impressive senior performances when they contest the women’s events.
Looking to gain more international experience in the men’s competition is Guy Anderson (Accounting and Finance), Charlie Brown (Sport Management & Coaching), Ross Charlton (Sports Performance), Sam Cobb (Sport Management & Coaching) and Toby Price (Mechanical Engineering).
All seven athletes combine study with training at the University of Bath, which has been home to Pentathlon GB’s world-leading National Training Centre for the past 24 years.
