Inspired to Try swimming? Team Bath AS inviting aspiring young competitive swimmers to a free taster session this September
Following the success of their recent #InspiredToTry para-swimming event, Team Bath AS is offering young athletes another chance to explore the world of swimming during September.
The performance swimming club – who train in the Olympic-standard pool at the Team Bath Sports Training Village – is inviting aspiring competitive swimmers aged 7 and over to attend a free swimming taster session from 10.30-11.30am on Saturday 14th September.
Participants will have chance to enhance their skills in the water while potentially discovering a lifelong passion for swimming.
It is open to those who can swim 50m freestyle and backstroke, are confident in deep water, and can perform all four strokes and a tumble turn. Participants should have completed Learn to Swim Stage 7 or an equivalent standard.
The free taster sessions are being held as part of Swim England’s Inspired to Try campaign, which aims to utilise the Olympic and Paralympic Games to encourage people to give aquatic sports a go.
