Student placement opportunities now available at Team Bath for 2025-26 academic year – apply by 22nd January
Applications are now open for student placements at Team Bath for the 2025-26 academic year.
There are six opportunities available and successful applicants will be based in the Team Bath Sports Training Village, working across a wide range of client groups including high-performance athletes, students and members of the public.

- Team Bath Applied Sport Science & Coaching Placement
Applications for all roles close on Wednesday 22nd January 2025 with interviews scheduled for w/c Monday 27th January 2025.
Mentored and supervised by accredited personal, students on placements will work towards agreed learning outcomes while gaining significant applied practical experiences on a long-running and established placement programme.
Placements at the University of Bath have provided a key stepping stone in many people’s careers, with previous incumbents having gone on to work for such bodies as the English and Scottish Institutes of Sport, ParalympicsGB, GB and US Olympic Associations, British Bobsleigh and Skeleton, UK Anti-Doping, Nuffield and Bupa Health, Porsche Performance Centre, Precision Hydration, The Altitude Centre and numerous professional football and rugby clubs, Many have also gone on to study MScs and PhDs in physiotherapy, strength and conditioning, exercise physiology and sport science.
The undergraduate placements start in September 2025 and run through to the summer of 2026. They are suitable for students who are on a sandwich course and have an optional or compulsory ‘year in industry’ or ‘placement year’ within their degree programme.
