Biography:

After making the switch from skeleton to bobsleigh in 2012, Brad has impressed as both a brakeman and driver. It was in the latter role that he guided Bruce Tasker, Joel Fearon and Greg Cackett to World Cup bronze at Park City in November 2017 – Britain’s first medal on the circuit for four years – and he was selected as driver in both the two-man and four-man competitions at the PyeongChang Winter Olympic Games, placing 12th and 17th respectively.

Brad equalled the country’s best 2-man result at a World Championships for 53 years when he placed joint fourth with Nick Gleeson in Whistler in 2019, while his silver medal alongside Greg Cackett in Igls in January 2020 was Great Britain’s first 2-man World Cup medal for more than 30 years.

The former rugby player and decathlete has also been a medallist on the Europa Cup and North American Cup, and competed at both the 2016 and 2017 World Championships.
