Camille Buscomb

Date and place of birth: 11 July 1990, New Zealand.

New Zealand international athlete Camille has been based at the University of Bath since 2019, where she is coached remotely by Nick Bideau.

She competed over 1,500m in the World Youth Championships in 2007 and the 2008 Commonwealth Youth Games before, after studying in the United States, winning her first New Zealand national title in 2012 over 3,000m.

A 5,000m silver-medallist at the World University Games in 2015, Camille missed out on Rio 2016 following surgery but represented her country at both the 2017 and 2019 IAAF World Championships, with her top-ten finishes in both the 5,000m and 10,000m in the latter competition securing her qualification for the Tokyo Olympic Games in 2021.
