Gemma Prior-Reeves – Performance Support Manager
- Lead sports massage therapist at Team Bath’s Physio and Sport Science Centre;

- Massage Therapist for Team Bath Buccaneers Men’s Hockey;
- Massage Therapist for BUCS.
Gemma, who joined Team Bath in November 2016, qualified from the University of Chichester with a BSC (Hons) Sports Therapy in 2006. In 2007 she travelled to Australia and worked as a massage therapist in Australia for four months at the Australian Institute of Sport based in Thredbo.
On returning to the UK she worked at BMI Bath Clinic as a Physiotherapy Assistant and sports massage therapist. She has worked at Circle Bath Hospital since 2010, delivering Sports Massage to members of the public, patients that have undergone recent surgery and athletes. Separately she has worked with the British Bobsleigh team.
Following her degree Gemma has gained her Dry Needling Certificate, Taping & Strapping Certificate and attended a Myofascial Release course specifically for headaches and migraines. She is customer focused and tailors the treatment to the individual.
Gemma has massaged at a number of events including the annual Bath Half Marathon, Cycle Sportives, Bath Triathlon, Ministry of Defence Sports Day and the BUCS Indoor Nationals.
