“Sport and exercise has always been my passion and one of my great delights comes from helping others reach their health, wellbeing, fitness or performance goals. It is fantastic to see people achieve things they previously thought weren’t possible!”
I bring the experiences of supporting my family to develop healthy lifestyles and my own journey to international competitive rowing (including managing a few injuries along the way) to my work as a personal trainer. When I’m not in the gym you will find me out training in my sculling boat or on expedition in my sea kayak.
I’m especially interested in working with older age groups – it’s never too late to begin your journey or move things up a level and reap the benefits! I run very successful group exercise classes for the over-60s that develop balance and confidence, mobility and flexibility as well as strength and independence.
Working across the age groups in my role as a British Rowing GoRow indoor rowing instructor, I strive to make group indoor rowing accessible to all. I have a broad experience in delivering group exercise classes including beginner fitness groups, intermediate kettlebell and pump classes through to more specialist strength circuits for my local rowing and kayak club.
I have a secure track record of successfully supporting personally training clients, especially those with weight-loss goals and/or managing mental health challenges.
