Joni Morley – Senior Physiotherapist

Primary responsibilities:

• BUCS Multisport;
• Special interest in Hypermobility;
• Running Biomechanics and Re-education.

Joni, who joined Team Bath in 2015, qualified with a BSc honours degree from UCL in 1995 and has 25 years of clinical experience. She initially worked for 15 years at some of London’s leading NHS and private hospitals and clinics.

She has a personal background in dance and developed a specialised service for treating all kinds of performers in London, including musicians, actors, artists and dancers. She then toured the world for a few years as the sole medical practitioner for NoFit State Circus, Britain’s leading contemporary circus.

Joni has also worked for the last seven years at Bath Clinic and has extensive postoperative and rehabilitation experience. She has gained post-graduate qualifications in Pilates and Acupuncture and has a diploma in Sports Massage Therapy.

Joni has a particular interest in treating complex neck, shoulder and pelvis problems and the correction of longstanding movement dysfunctions which can resolve most rehabilitation and postural issues.

She enjoys working with hypermobility issues and is a very experienced hands-on joint and soft tissue manual therapist. She also has a special interest in the functional biomechanics of running and is able to analyse, re-educate and rehabilitate any movement and running issues.
