Biography:

Rachel was captain of the Great Britain National Team that made history by representing Team GB in rhythmic gymnastics at the London 2012 Olympic Games.

She had trained in the sport from the age of six and first arrived at Team Bath as an athlete in July 2011.

After the Olympics, Rachel retired from the sport and began training to support elite athletes within higher education in the UK during her Undergraduate and Master’s degree in Health & Wellbeing.

She returned to the University of Bath in 2015 as Athlete Support Officer at the University of Bath, a role in which she served for three years before moving to Lausanne, Switzerland in 2018 to begin working for the International Olympic Committee.
