Stan Mavridis

Stan is a highly qualified and experienced Sports Massage and Soft Tissue Therapist based in Bradford on Avon.  His qualifications and certifications include CORE Myofascial Therapy and Structural Integration, Advanced Sports Massage, Active Isolated Stretching (AIS), Neuromuscular Therapy and Kinesio Taping and Soft Tissue Release (STR).  He also holds a BSc in Kinesiology from the University of Colorado, Boulder.

Stan has had the privilege of working with many world-class athletes and individuals across a wide range of sports and from all walks of life.  He was part of the medical team as a volunteer therapist for the London 2012 and Athens 2004 Olympic Games and has also worked at the last two Paralympic Games as the Soft Tissue Therapist for ParalympicsGB and British Athletics.  Stan was previously lead therapist for Team Bath (University of Bath) and the English Institute of Sport (EiS), and continues to work with the British Athletics ParaAthletics program.

Stan is a former massage instructor at the Colorado School of Healing Arts (CSHA) which ranks as one of the leading massage training schools in the USA. He is the developer/instructor of Myofascial release for Sports and Performance and the Advanced Soft Tissue Techniques masterclass workshops. He also teaches Active Isolated Stretching (AIS) seminars and has taught numerous workshops with his mentors, George Kousaleos and Aaron Mattes.
