Rugby World Cup trophy arrives in Bath
July 13, 2015 @ 8:30 am - 10:30 am
Rugby’s famous Webb Ellis trophy is coming to Bath!
On July 13th, it will make its first stop at the University of Bath at 8.30am for photo opportunities and an organised flash dance which could feature on national TV.
Open to everyone
Our flash dance is our way of welcoming the trophy, so come and be part of it! We need as many people to participate as possible in this exciting event (please arrive at 7.45am for preparations).
We have rehearsals at the Community Activity Day on June 20 at the Sports Training Village – details of which can be found here: flash dance info.
Alternatively, you can learn the dance at home via our YouTube video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=aZJ1DJm8hDM
As Bath will host the Australian rugby squad during the World Cup, our dance might have the occasional Aussie theme, and if the organisers like what we do, it could feature in the overall World Cup opening ceremony.
If you and/or your friends, family or company want to join in, please contact: Lisa Ashcroft on l.d.ashcroft@bath.ac.uk
