Saturday 22 June 2013 Team Bath host their annual family fun day from 12-4pm at the Sports Training Village.

There will be lots of activities for all ages including an Olympic Day Run, a mobile climbing wall and zip wire (no age restrictions), parent and baby swim sessions in the hydrotherapy pool, athletics (sprints, hurdles and triple jump), badminton, fencing and LazyTown’s hero “Sportacus” will be performing at the Sports Training Village throughout the afternoon.

Olympic day run

This year the Olympic Day Run will be started by University of Bath student Michael Jamieson, who won silver in the 200m breaststroke at the London 2012 Olympics. Jamieson, who has just won the 2013 University of Bath Sports Personality of the Year award, trains at British Swimming’s Bath Intensive Training Centre.
