Women’s rugby

The University’s women’s rugby union set-up welcomes players of all abilities – from those who have never touched a rugby ball before to players who wish to compete at a high level.

Our University BUCS team – who compete in the BUCS Western 1A league – have enjoyed an excellent few seasons, winning the title, cup and 7s treble in 2016-17, and look forward to building on this success in the seasons to come.

The women’s team is coached by Kim Oliver, a former England international who represented her country at the 2006 and 2010 Women’s Rugby World Cups. She is also a community coach with Bath Rugby.
