Early years (3-6)
Parents and toddlers (3 year olds)
Parents are required to be on court with their child to aid in the key and sending/receiving skills – working with your child through a progression of coach-led activities – learning basic ball skills and games for you to practise with them at home.
Tots tennis (4-5 year olds)
Children at this early age will develop their agility, balance, co-ordination and speed (ABCs) skills through tailored fun games and exercises – extending their reception and movement work whilst starting to get used to the feel of holding a racquet.
Pre-mini red (6 year olds and under)
Children at this stage are readying themselves for Mini Red, developing their FUNdamental skills and ABCs, and picking up the basics of each shot: serve, forehand, backhand and volley.
They must be at a level to engage with the longer hour session, whilst taking on some FUN co-operative play and group instruction.
