Four Bath athletes are Beijing bound after World Championships call

Four University of Bath-based athletes have been named in the Great Britain squad for next month’s IAAF World Athletics Championships in Beijing, China. European 400m hurdles champion Eilidh Child, coached by Malcolm Arnold at the Sports Training Village, will compete at a fourth successive World Championships – she finished fifth at the 2013 event in Moscow. Season’s best times for Eilidh Child and Lawrence Clarke in Diamond League meetings

University of Bath-based athletes Eilidh Child and Lawrence Clarke both set season’s best times during a busy week of IAAF Diamond League action. Three athletes who train at the University of Bath have been named in the Great Britain & Northern Ireland team for the IAAF World Relay Championships in Nassau, Bahamas on May 2-3.
