Athlete Development Sessions
Athletic Development sessions are divided into two categories, Blue Development and Gold Performance. These session types are primarily based on training age, biological maturity, and athletic competence. This allows us to deliver the most appropriate and beneficial training for individual athletes.
Introduces athletes to regular physical training, using a large variety of movements. The focus is on building strong fundamental movement skills, body awareness and fundamental athletic qualities in an engaging and enjoyable training environment. This lays the foundation from which to progress onto the Gold Performance programme.
Builds on the skills and movement competencies from the Blue Development programme with the ultimate aims of preparing athletes for the transition into adult training and competition, and creating an all-round athletic toolbox. In addition we seek to educate and empower athletes, encouraging them to take responsibility for more and more aspects of their athletic development as they mature.
