Team Bath’s Amy Williams fininshed just outside the medals in the penultimate round of the 2009/10 Skeleton World Cup in St Moritz, Switzerland today (Friday).

Williams finished in fourth place, just 0.27 seconds away from bronze medal position.

Williams, silver medallist at last season’s World Championships, remains fifth in the overall FIBT world rankings and has finished in the top-10 in all but one of her World Cup races this season.

Meanwhile, Adam Pengilly, who also won silver at last season’s World Championships, won the first medal of his 2009/10 campaign at Calgary in Canada yesterday. Pengilly took silver in the sixth Intercontinental Cup race of the season.
