Dai is mystery gymnast
European and Commonwealth Games gold medallist Dai Greene featured as the mystery guest in this week’s edition of the hit BBC sports quiz programme Question of Sport.
Greene, who is coached at the University of Bath by Malcolm Arnold, UK Athletics National Events Coach – Hurdles, swapped the running track for the gymnastics mat for the programme.
Greene was filmed training with the GB senior rhythmic gymnastics group, who also train at the Sports Training Village.
But his disguise didn’t fool fellow GB hurdler Andy Turner, who correctly identified Greene.
There was a strong Bath link to the London 2012 themed programme, with modern pentathlete Heather Fell also featuring on one of teams. The Beijing 2008 Olympic silver medallist trains at the Pentathlon GB High Performance Centre at the University.
