Bronzes for judo pair
Team Bath judoka Megan Fletcher and Gary Hall continued their preparations for the Glasgow 2014 Commonwealth Games by winning bronze medals at the European Open in Madrid at the weekend.
The pair, who train at the University of Bath, have both been selected to represent England at the Games.
Megan Fletcher progressed through the women’s under-70kg draw, beating France’s Margaux Pinot in the battle for bronze.
Hall also beat a French judo player, Axel Clerget, in the bronze medal contest in the men’s under-90kg class.
