Blue and Gold back on the road for big BUCS Super Rugby clash at Cardiff

30 November 2016

The University of Bath men’s 1st XV hit the road for only the second time this season when they travel to Cardiff Metropolitan University today for their latest BUCS Super Rugby fixture (Wednesday, 7pm).

Both teams will be keen to pick up a win, with Bath having lost their last three matches and Cardiff Met victorious just once in their last six outings.

They were edged out 32-31 at Northumbria University on Saturday, while the Blue and Gold’s last outing saw their spirited second-half comeback attempt against University of Exeter come up just short.

Bath have changed their front row for tonight’s match with Conor McGrath, George Frampton and Austin Hay all coming into the starting XV. Jack Turner and George Humphreys also get their first starts at scrum-half and full-back respectively.
