Internationals and leading scorer return as University of Bath welcome BUCS Super Rugby leaders to STV

25 October 2017

England U19 winger Levi Davis and hooker Tom Doughty, last season’s leading try-scorer, will make their first starts of the 2017-18 BUCS Super Rugby campaign when the University of Bath men’s 1st XV entertain league leaders Northumbria University tonight (Wednesday).

United States international Louis Mulholland also comes in at scrum-half in three changes to the XV that started last week’s defeat to Loughborough University in the Iesis Group-sponsored Anniversary Game at The Rec.

The action returns to the University of Bath Sports Training Village tonight, where the home team are determined to convert promising recent performances into a first win of the season.

Northumbria arrive at the STV in fine form, having won three of their opening four matches to set the early pace at the top of the table.

It promises to be another highly-entertaining encounter and admission, as for all home matches, is free so come along and give the boys in Blue and Gold your backing!

The University of Bath BUCS Super Rugby squad are sponsored by IKON Construction and supported by Investigo.
