Plenty of promise for the future as Team Bath Netball Club junior teams enjoy successful season

The Team Bath Netball Club U12A squad have finished their season on a high having finished runners-up in Division 1 of the Avon League.

The team of Mia (GK), Alex (GS), Bethan (GA), Evie (GS), Carys (GA), Evie (WA), Gracie (C), Lola (WA), Emily (WD), Ellie (GD), Betty (WD) and Casey (GK) came together from a number of local schools including King Edwards, Hayesfield, St Laurence, Kingswood and Ralph Allen.

They also performed brilliantly to reach the final of the end-of-season tournament at Abbeywood School, featuring teams from across the county, and only lost out on gold by three goals.

It has been an extremely successful season for all of the Team Bath Netball Club junior squads with the U16A and U16B teams winning Division 2 and Division 3 respectively. The U14B team also topped Division 2 and the U12B team were runners-up.

Team Coach Sian Robbins said: “It has been a solid and enthusiastic performance from each and every player in the Team Bath Netball Club squads this season, resulting in great league positioning and numerous accolades from Avon. We at the club are all so proud of the girls and look forward to seeing them progress and evolve to the next level.”
