Team Bath looking for immediate bounce back as they travel to Cardiff for last BUCS Super Rugby away trip of 2022

07 December 2022

Team Bath will be looking for an immediate response to last week’s disappointing result at Exeter when they visit Cardiff on Wednesday for their last BUCS Super Rugby away match of the year (6pm kick-off).

It is the first reverse fixture of the season too, with the Bath Building Society-sponsored men’s 1st XV also bidding to avenge their last-gasp single-point home defeat to Cardiff on the opening day.

Team Bath welcome Archie McNicol, Mackenzie Graham and co-captain Tom Williams back to their pack, while Bath Rugby Academy duo Tom Carr-Smith and Sam Harris forge a half-back partnership for the first time this season and Luca Mignot returns at full-back.

There is one more game after this week for Team Bath before Christmas as they welcome Leeds Beckett to the Sports Training Village on Wednesday 14th December (6.30pm kick-off, free to watch).

Team Bath starting XV: 1 Archie Stanley, 2 Jasper Spandler, 3 Archie McNicol, 4 Eddie Erskine, 5 Mackenzie Graham, 6 Tom Williams (c), 7 Tom Cowan, 8 Harry Breeze; 9 Tom Carr-Smith, 10 Sam Harris, 11 Alfie Garside (c), 12 Ludo Kolade, 13 Louie Hennessey, 14 Alex Clayton, 15 Luca Mignot.
