Graduates named as GB Olympic rowing reserves

University of Bath graduates Marcus Bateman and Adam Freeman-Pask have been named as GB rowing team reserves for the London 2012 Olympic Games. Bateman, who graduated with a degree in Sports Technology in 2005, is openweight spare for the Games. Six University of Bath-based gymnasts will make history when they become the first team to represent Great Britain in the rhythmic gymnastics group competition at an Olympic Games. World, European and Commonwealth champion 400m hurdler Dai Greene features in the 71-strong athletics team, which was announced today (Tuesday). The University of Bath-based beach volleyball pairing of Zara Dampney and Shauna Mullin were today (Monday) selected to represent Great Britain to compete at the London 2012 Olympic Games.
