University of Bath graduates Amy Williams and Sam Weale have been named winners of the British Olympic Association Athlete of the Year awards for their respective sports. Mayor of Bath Councillor Shaun McGall has paid tribute to Bath-based athletes who competed at the Delhi 2010 Commonwealth Games. The Mayor hosted a civic reception for athletes in the historic surroundings of the Mayor’s Parlour in the Guildhall.
