  • Gain an insight into the day-to-day running of the Sports Training Village with the Operations team;
  • Learn the fundamentals of gym inductions and personal training with the Fitness team;
  • Observe coaching sessions with performance squads and Team Bath Tribe coaching staff;
  • Experience Sports Science and Sports Psychology sessions;
  • Assist with the set-up of sporting events;
  • Explore departments across Team Bath, including Facility Sales, Memberships, Finance and Management, to understand the wider operation;

The activities available during your placement will depend on the time of year.

Frequently asked questions

Can I choose which area I work in?

We aim to tailor each placement to individual interests where possible. However, due to operational requirements and availability, we cannot guarantee specific areas.

How long is the placement?

Placements typically run for one week (Monday to Friday from 10am to 3pm), although this may vary depending on the programme and availability.

Is there a limited number of places?

Yes, places are limited to two students per week. Demand is high and while we aim to accommodate as many applicants as possible, a placement cannot be guaranteed.
