Testimonials
“I attended the Emergency First Aid Course with Rob and Jemma at the University of Bath in October 2019. The course was very informative and a perfect balance with Rob covering the morning with going through the theory part on slides with plenty of group discussion and the very hands-on practical afternoon part led by Jemma. I really enjoyed the afternoon and getting involved in role plays really put me at ease that if I should ever be in a situation where I needed to give or assist with First Aid I will be in a much calmer place and take appropriate action. I would recommend everyone to take this course. Thank you Jemma and Rob!” – Miriam Hunter, Trainee Branch Manager, Simple Recruitment Ltd.
“Just to say how much our staff enjoyed the First Aid course, it was well structured and you were a great trainer” – Angela Chapman, Bath Cats & Dogs Home.
“A big thank you to Jemma for running such an interesting and informative course. I knew some basics and am usually calm in a crisis but feel so much more confident in myself now and would happily step in to help should the need arise.
“Jemma ran a great course with lots of different tasks being set during the day to keep everyone’s attention and ensure they got the most out of the course. I have now booked two of our fitters on the same course.” – Steve White, Bath Contract Flooring.
“I attended Jemma’s first-aid course at the University of Bath in September 2018. I had previously been a first aider and attended training a few years ago but this had expired. I felt that Jemma’s course was a lot more engaging and allowed me to come
away with more knowledge then I had. Her way of teaching is excellent, she put everyone at ease and, for a subject which can be quite heavy and information overload, she made it fun and gave us a few scenarios which we were allowed to contribute to. I especially liked how portable the day was, which kept us awake not sitting in a classroom making notes! I would definitely use her class again and left interested to go on the three-day course to learn more.” – Fiona Blades, American Museum and Gardens.
“Jemma was great, she was enthusiastic, friendly and knowledgeable and made learning what is actually a very serious skill fun, engaging and ‘easier’ than what we anticipated. It was also good to be able to train at our own location for convenience and we were then able to look where our own first aid kits are kept and used the potential risks in our office as examples. Booking was straightforward and communication excellent – we will definitely be using Jemma again!” – Old Mill.
