Athletics

A complete athletics set-up

The athletics programme at Team Bath caters for athletes from grass roots level right through to performance standard.

Our world class track and field facilities are open to the public, meaning young athletes and recreational and club standard athletes can train at the same venue used by Olympic standard competitors.

Home to some star names

Some of the leading stars in UK athletics train or have trained at the University of Bath’s Sports Training Village.

Olympic, World and European medallists Colin Jackson, Jason Gardener and Dai Greene are members of our alumni, whilst Rio 2016 Olympic medallists Eilidh Doyle and Emily Diamond (below), Paralympic Champion Paul Blake, World Para-Athletics Champion Sophie Kamlish and MJ Church ambassador David King are some of the top-level athletics stars who currently train at the STV.
