Women’s rugby

The University’s women’s rugby union set-up, sponsored by Bath Building Society, welcomes players of all abilities – from those who have never touched a rugby ball before to players who wish to compete at a high level.

As well as our 1st XV, who compete in the BUCS Western 1A league, we play 2nd XV and development fixtures, host ‘inner warrior’ camps and have strong links with Bath Rugby Ladies, who are working towards joining the Allianz Premier 15s league in the 2023-24 season.

The university women’s team Head Coach is Maria Crowfoot (Bath Rugby Women and Girls Development Lead).
