Women’s rugby

The University’s women’s rugby union set-up welcomes players of all abilities – from those who have never touched a rugby ball before to players who wish to compete at a high level.

Our University BUCS team – who compete in the BUCS Western 1A league – have enjoyed an excellent few seasons, winning the title, cup and 7s treble in 2016-17, and look forward to building on this success in the seasons to come.

The women’s team, coached by Bath Rugby Community coach Tom Fogerty, has strong links with Bath Rugby Ladies and holds a joint training session with the club every week.
