Team Bath has a successful track record of organising, hosting and delivering major events and training camps at the University of Bath’s Sport Training Village.
Utilising the many facilities of our inspirational multi-sports complex, located at the heart of the University of Bath campus, we have hosted a host of major international competitions including:
- Modern Pentathlon European Championships in 2015 and 2019; and World Championships in 2023;
- UK Invictus Games trials;
- Fed Cup tennis;
- International netball series;
- European Youth Olympic Games;
- Special Olympics National Summer Games.
We have also hosted training and preparation camps for squads such as:
- England, Australia and New Zealand rugby;
- New Zealand and South Africa netball;
- ParalympicsGB;
- Wigan Warriors rugby league squad;
- Jamaica bobsleigh team;
- Scotland National Women’s Football team.
Throughout the year we run regular spectator events such as:
- Domestic netball matches;
- BUCS Super Rugby fixtures;
- Regional and county championships across numerous sports;
- Strength in Depth, the world’s biggest team fitness event.
And it’s not just sporting events that we stage – our modern and flexible facilities have hosted the International Maths Olympiad, in 2019 and 2024, Comic Cons, LEGO League Internationals, conferences, exhibitions, corporate events, concerts and more. On-site catering and a range of accommodation options are also available.
We offer a tailored service via dedicated event managers, backed by an experienced and professional team.

The Team Bath Sports Training Village is just a couple of miles away from Bath city centre and Bath Spa railway station, with buses running frequently to and from the University of Bath campus. It is also within walking and biking distance. The city of Bath – a UNESCO World Heritage Centre – is recognised as one of the most beautiful cities in the world.
